RETREATS, EVENTS & CEREMONIES

We do not facilitate or organize retreats ourselves; instead we partner with great local and international facilitators that bring groups to our space. We ensure a beautiful venue, healthy organic meals, and comfortable accommodations for retreat participants and facilitators.
All scheduled retreats will be posted on our Events Calendar; read the description of the event to learn more about how to register for each.
We are happy to host group retreats in our space. If you’re a retreat facilitator, learn more about booking a group retreat with us.
We have many events that are open to the public; all will be posted on our Events Calendar. Our classes, workshops, and ceremonies are generally scheduled about a month in advance. Read more about the sacred plant ceremonies we offer and our dome space to get inspired to visit us!
We are happy to host both local and international instructors in our Dome space at Kinsapacha. Instructors are ultimately responsible for their own marketing and success of their classes; we charge the instructor by participant for use of the space. You can inquire about using our space for your services using our contact form.

SIGHTSEEING & TRANSPORTATION

There’s no shortage of activities around Urubamba and the Sacred Valley! You can take a day trip to Machu Picchu, marvel at the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, Moray, Pisac, and Chinchero, see the Maras salt mines, hike to waterfalls and viewpoints, explore local farms and visit traditional communities. We have plenty of recommendations for you and are happy to provide them to our guests.
Machu Picchu is an easy day trip from Kinsapacha. We have put together some directions that will help you navigate the process of organizing your trip from our location, if you’d like to do so without an agency.
The trip from Cusco to Kinsapacha takes about 1h and 30 minutes. We can arrange a taxi to pick you up at the airport or any other location in the city. If you prefer, you can also take a van (colectivo) from Cusco to Urubamba. We are a 15 minute walk from the main bus terminal.
You can drive to most places around Kinsapacha (and we have private parking on-site!) but a car is not absolutely necessary. We are a 20 minute walk from the Urubamba town center, where you can find the market, shops, cafés, grocery stores and pharmacies. Moto taxis and regular taxis are plentiful, as well as public transportation to other towns in the Sacred Valley.

MEALS

Daily vegetarian breakfast with toast, eggs, fruit and produce from our farm is included in our nightly rates. We offer two-course meals for lunch and dinner for an additional charge. Most produce comes from our organic garden.
We are happy to accommodate your dietary restrictions. Most of the meals we serve at Kinsapacha are vegetarian or vegan, and can be made gluten free upon request. We can cook fish and chicken when requested by our guests. Most produce comes from our organic garden.

OTHER

Yes, we are open to individuals, couples, families and groups who want to stay in our space and enjoy all it has to offer. For solo travelers who want to socialize, we have the affordable option of dormitory rooms. Learn more about our rooms, availability and prices here.
For bookings made through our website, a deposit equal to 50% of the full cost of the booking is due upon reservation request. The remainder of the cost is due upon arrival.
If a booking is canceled 30 days or more prior to the arrival date, the deposit will be fully refunded.
If a booking is canceled less than 30 days before arrival, the 50% deposit will be kept and can be applied to alternative booking dates with proper notice.
We have limited volunteer slots available for gardening, cooking assistance, marketing and other administrative tasks. Our minimum volunteer commitment is 1 month; we cannot accommodate couples as volunteers share a dorm space with other volunteers and guests. You can inquire about volunteering using our contact form.

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST...

Kinsapacha is a functioning organic (no-spray) farm, with naturally-built adobe buildings. Urubamba actually means the ‘town of spiders’ – there’s a lot in the neighborhood. The bugs that we share the land with are important pollinators and members of our ecosystem. We hope you will have an open mind to sharing your space with these essential critters. We’d be happy to help you with ethical removal from your room.

El Origen de Nuestro Nombre

KINSAPACHA

Lovely property. Delicious healthy breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Hot shower. Nicely located, walkable to downtown Urubamba but outside which feels more connected to nature. Incredible nearby hikes and wonderful stars at night. Kind owner and fabulous staff. I had a lovely massage here and loved the yoga classes. Would recommend!

Acabo de llegar, mi primera impresión, bonito, habitaciones cómodas y grandes, con una linda terraza. Un poco alejada de bullicio pero no está nada mal. Ya después opino más
